Happy Independence Day, July 4th!

We continue to be the longest on-going Constitutional Republic in the history of the world.

May God's great blessings continue to pour out on our Country that was founded by God loving, fearing, patriots!

May all patriots continue to stand up to preserve our freedoms!

Did you know that we had black signers of the Constitution?

Did you know that the first man killed in the Revolution was a black solider?

Did you know we had women fighting along side our men in the Revolution?

Did you know that some states gave women the right to vote in Colonial days?  Long before the nation gave all women the right to vote.  They took the vote away because most women voters were Federalist and the opposing party wanted to get rid of the Federalist party.

Did you know that a lot of our early representatives were black statesmen?  In Texas and many other states they hide the pictures under stairwells in the State Capitals.

Take some time to do your own research and find out the truths of our country's founding.  Our schools no longer teach the truths of our history so we need to take responsibility for teaching ourselves and our children and grandchildren.

Read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.  Both are shorter then a dime novel.

Other suggested reading:

The 5000 Year Leap
Sacred Fire
The Real George Washington
The Real Thomas Jefferson
The Real Benjamin Franklin

Visit for books about all our founders, i.e., women, wives, blacks, religious leaders.  They also have reprints of early textbooks that are just amazing.  They have links to numerous other sites full of history.
