Happy Easter!

Believing everyone has a truly blessed day celebrating the resurrection and of course hunting for Easter eggs with the kids!

I just spent the morning setting up the baskets and filling plastic eggs for the grandkids while Mom and Dad took them to breakfast.

It is raining here so we will probably have to hide them in the house!

They have been asking all week "is it Easter yet? Did you get us a surprise?" Their little heads are full of visions of candy and toys! Hopefully, I can get some time to explain the real meaning of this wonderful day even though they are a little young to truly comprehend.

Have a very peaceful, blessed day! May God continue to bless each and everyone of us in the name of Christ Jesus!

It is a shame that most people only remember this wonderful sacrifice once a year. It is about our Lord's resurrection and where I attend services we remember this every Sunday as commanded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the taking of the Lord's Supper. I just think that Christians need to remember more regularly what Christ did for all of us on Calvary (1 Cor. 11:23-26; Acts 20:7).

Thank you for this post and I know how the children enjoy hunting for eggs and getting their little treats. After all we all were young once and enjoyed this ourselves.
